Coral Spawning  -  珊瑚の産卵

Initiated in 2002 in Cairns, Australia, this artwork explores the journey of the human soul through the process of reincarnation, illustrating how it refines itself through numerous births and gradually ascends to higher dimensions via abstract expression.

The miracle of coral spawning is presented as a symbol of life, where countless white dots suggest the presence of human souls. The rhythm of expanding and contracting dots and lines generates waves, hinting at the biorhythms experienced throughout a human life. The intricately intertwined lines symbolize the deep connections formed with people and events encountered along one’s journey, depicting how destinies intertwine and breathe within a continuous flow.

Rooted in Japan's philosophy of reincarnation, this piece evokes a sense of the soul's growth and ascent while simultaneously portraying each encounter and event as part of an eternal tapestry of life. It is a work of art imbued with profound spirituality and universal beauty.

2002年よりオーストラリア・ケアンズにおいて制作を開始。人間の魂が輪廻転生のプロセスを経て、幾度も生まれ変わりながら自己を研磨し、次第に高次元へと上昇していく様を、抽象的な表現を通じて描いています。

珊瑚の産卵という生命の奇跡を「生」の象徴として掲げ、無数の白いドットは人間の魂を示唆。点と線が拡がりと収縮を繰り返すリズムによって波を生み出し、そこには人間の生涯におけるバイオリズムを暗示しています。細やかに絡み合う線は、人生において出逢う人々や事象との深い結びつきを象徴し、連続する形態の中で運命が絡み合いながら息づく様を表現しています。

日本の輪廻思想に根ざし、魂が成長しながら高みへと昇っていく様子を表すと同時に、そこに浮かぶ一つひとつの出逢いや出来事が永遠に織りなす生命の輪廻を描いている。深淵なる精神性と普遍的な美しさを大切にしている。
